We feel it’s our responsibility to put our community first—one that is vulnerable and that faces medical discrimination and fatphobia that further puts our community at risk. While COVID-19 has not become a public health crisis in Minnesota yet, we want to do our part to protect our community and the most vulnerable folks in it. With that being said, we are canceling the March Big Fat Super Swap, and Inbetweenie Super Swap.
At this time, we are not rescheduling the event at Nokomis. We will, however, be moving forward with our summer swap. We are halting donations at this point but plan to begin accepting them in the future closer to the next swap. 4XL+ donations will still be accepted only at Cake Plus-Size Resale. We plan to hold the next swap on June 20th in St. Paul with details forthcoming.
Accessibility hour attendee hour spots will NOT be held for that event, you will have to re-sign up. Sign-ups will be available in May.
We understand that this is an important and much-needed source of clothing and community for folks and this decision was not made lightly. We look forward to seeing you at our next swap where we should have more clothes than ever!
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. Stay safe, friends!
See you in June!
